We built an Emotiguy editor

Joe, the original Emotiguy

His name is Emotiguy. Most people refer to him as Joe.

He’s a 3D rendered sun with a face. Slightly smug. Vaguely unsettling. Eyebrows that suggest he’s been waiting for you to figure something out. He was created by Steve Corder, published on Daz3D in 2005, and somehow never died.

He just kept rotating.

We found him again through this video — someone doing that thing where they dig through early internet artifacts with the tone of careful archaeology. Look at this thing that existed. And we looked, and we thought: yeah. That guy deserves something.

So we built Emotiguy Editor. A small browser tool where you can make your own Joe. Nothing serious. Just a thing that exists because an old 3D render from 2005 is still somehow more alive than most of what was built after it.

The internet keeps these things if you let it.

Go make one.
